PULSE DASH — OVERVIEW
Pulse Dash is a neon rhythm runner. Run to the beat · dash on the drop. Every jump, dash and dodge lands on the track's rhythm — pick a song and ride it clean to the final drop. A music-first arcade runner where the level is the music.
The fantasy
The world pulses to the track. You don't just avoid obstacles — you hit them on beat, and a perfect run feels like playing the song. Miss the tempo and the run breaks; nail it and everything flows in sync with the drop.
Core loop
- Auto-run through a neon track generated from / synced to a song.
- Time your inputs to the beat — jump, dash, dodge on the rhythm.
- Chain clean on-beat actions for flow and score; break the beat and you stumble/fail.
- Ride the track to the final drop; chase cleaner runs and higher tracks.
Pillars
- Music is the level. Layout and cues come from the beat — the song is the designer.
- On-tempo, not twitch. Rewarding timing over raw reflex.
- Neon clarity. High-contrast, silhouette-first hazards; the beat is always legible.
- Track variety. Different songs = different runs.
Status & platform
- Status: prototype. Self-contained HTML5, instant-play, ForgeFront's synth-audio-capable stack.
- Sibling: distinct from Fliptempo (one-tap gravity flip) — Pulse Dash is rhythm-timing across a full move-set.
- Play: Pulse Dash
