⧉ FLIPTEMPO

CORE MECHANICS

The flip

A single input — tap, click, or space — inverts gravity. You fall to the floor, flip, and fall to the ceiling, and back. There is no jump, no move button: the flip is the game. Timing the flip on the run's tempo is the whole skill curve.

Running the line

You auto-advance forward at a steady pace. The level is a "line" of surfaces, gaps and hazards read as clean silhouettes. Flip to land on the surface you need, chain flips to thread tight sequences, and commit early — a late flip drops you into the void.

Fail & retry

Touching a hazard or falling into the void ends the run. Retries are instant, keeping the game in a fast read-fail-improve loop. Progress is per-level; clearing a level unlocks the next.

Onboarding

The first run teaches the flip in-gameplay (the tutorial flag is set once seen) — no wall of text. New players land directly in a playable level, per CrazyGames' land-in-gameplay rule.

Feel & audio

Movement is tuned for a musical read — the flip has weight and a beat-synced feedback so timing feels like landing on tempo. A light audio engine drives the pulse.

Monetization (Boon layer)

All monetization goes through a portal-agnostic Boon adapter, so CrazyGames (or any portal) is a plug-in, not surgery. Gameplay session signals (gameplayStart on first input, gameplayStop on breaks/ads) are mandatory and wired through Boon; rewarded moments (e.g. continue/revive) sit at emotional peaks, never gating core progress.
